Description –
We were contacted by the client to install window film to various areas of their school in Bermondsey, London. They wanted to combat a heat and glare issue in their classrooms, as well as bringing the glazing up to current regulations in other areas of the school.

After surveying the building, Tintfit recommended Reflective Silver 20 100 Micron window film. This film combines both solar control with safety and security. Reflective Silver 20 100 Micron film reduces heat by 80% and glare by 83% whilst also upgrading the glazing to current EN12600 (2B2) regulations.

The client decided go ahead with Tintfit’s recommendation. Reflective Silver 20 100 Micron window film was applied to 391 panes of glass measuring approximately 320m2. The installation was carried out and completed during the half term holidays and caused no disruption to the day to day running of the school.
