Description –
Tintfit were contacted by the managing director of Bernicia. They were having issues with the heat and glare inside their large atrium and wanted a long lasting film to address these issues. After assessing the building and having several meetings Tintfit recommended External Reflective Silver 15 10yr window film. External film was recommended due to accessibility issues inside the premises. The film has a high heat rejection and comes with a 10 year external warranty (the longest warranty available when installing externally). By installing this window film the heat and glare entering the building via the windows would both be reduced by 86% as well as blocking out 99% of UV Rays.
After careful consideration Bernicia accepted Tintfit’s recommendation and External Reflective Silver 15 10yr window film was applied to over 50 large panes of glass.
The heat inside the building was dramatically reduced making the offices inside more comfortable and workable. The managing director was delighted with the performance of the window film – so much so she decided to have the other side of the atrium tinted a few months later.
