Description –
We were asked by Cumbria County Council to apply a window film that would reduce the unbearable heat and glare coming through their windows. The large glass fronted building was suffering from a huge amount of solar gain and staff were complaining of migraines due to the working conditions.

After surveying the building Tintfit recommended installing Reflective Silver 20 window film in order to reduce heat by 79% and glare by 83%. Cumbria County Council were happy to go ahead with our recommendation and Tintfit installed the window film to 148 square metres of glass within days of first contact.

An immediate and large improvement in working conditions was achieved by the installation and staff were now able to work in comfort.
