We recently completed an installation project for Erudus Ltd in Newcastle upon Tyne. The task involved removing outdated window film that no longer met the office’s requirements, particularly causing excessive interior darkening and failing to provide sufficient glare control. The aim of the project was to enhance privacy during the day, reduce glare and heat for employees, while maintaining natural light levels.
Key Objectives

For this project, we selected Dark Reflective Silver 20 Window Film, known for its effective privacy and light control. The film’s reflective silver coating creates a mirror-like finish on the external side, preventing outside visibility during daylight hours. Internally, employees benefit from reduced glare (up to 83%) and heat rejection (79% of total solar energy), ensuring a more comfortable working environment without sacrificing natural light.
The installation involved fitting 142 m² of Dark Reflective Silver 20 to office windows, providing the perfect balance between privacy, light control, and maintaining an airy, naturally lit workspace.
